[Scrubs]

On this page I'll include biographical information about the cast of my favorite TV show. Here's a sample of the format and type of the information I might include.

John Dorian 'JD'
played by Zach Braff

John "J.D." Dorian
Since finishing medical school with his best friend (Turk), J.D. is determined to make a difference, one patient at a time. J.D.'s distractions include hooking up with Elliot, sucking up to Dr. Cox and running from a demented janitor. J.D.'s biggest distraction, however, is generally his over-active imagination, which tends to visualize worst-case scenarios of the funniest kind.

Zach
Braff

as John "J.D." Dorian
Zach Braff stars as fresh-faced medical resident John “J.D.” Dorian, who is embarking on his career at a hospital full of unpredictable staffers and patients. “This is a dream role for me,” says Braff of his alter-ego. “As an actor you’re always struggling to convey everything that’s going on in the character’s mind, but, as J.D., the audience is privy to all of my thoughts and neuroses. There’s just so much room to grow in a role like this.”

----------------------------------------------------

Elliot Reid

Being one of the only female interns, Elliot has learned how to be "one of the guys." She puts up with Kelso's sexist "sweethearts" and Dr. Cox's tirades. Ultimately though, Elliot has a soft spot for patients (and also, J.D.) which keeps her motivated through long hours, grueling schedules and many unexpected developments.

Sarah
Chalke

as Elliot Reid

Sarah Chalke, one of the brightest and engaging acting talents to emerge in recent years, returns to her television roots to portray Elliot Reid, a sexy, over-ambitious doctor serving her residence at the hospital, sharing hilarious encounters, as well as poignant moments, with the unpredictable staffers and insane patients who surround her. “She is sarcastic and fun, competitive and driven, but also has a lot of insecurities and is a bit of a clutz,” she says. “Although she tries to keep up a touch façade, she’s really just nervous about being a good doctor.”

Chris Turk
Turk may be a surgical intern, but his many talents also include a flair for Michael Jackson impersonations. He's a little cocky since he's always been the "big man on campus," but his new life-or-death reality may humble him a bit. Romantically involved with Nurse Carla, Turk tries to balance his tough schedule with his relationship - and find time for his best friend, J.D. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.

Donald
Faison

as Chris Turk
A New York City Native, Faison began his acting career as an enthusiastic five year old attending the Children’s School of Intuitive and God-Conscious Art. His passion and talent led him to study theatre at the Professional Children’s School.

Nurse Carla Espinosa

Despite Carla's tough exterior, she's actually very kindhearted. She's even managed to bond with Dr. Kelso - a feat deemed impossible by other staffers. Currently dating Turk, Carla also has a fondness for Dr. Cox, but is unaware that his feelings are much stronger for her than friendship.

Judy
Reyes

as Nurse Carla Espinosa
Judy Reyes portrays no-nonsense nurse Carla Espinosa on NBC's comedy series "Scrubs." "I really admire Carla - she's smart and sassy and a very good nurse," says Reyes. "I like that she remains confident and unapologetic in a world where nurses don't receive the same respect as doctors."

Mothly spotlight:
Dr Perry Cox
as John C Mcginley

Dr. Perry Cox

His witty retorts are surpassed only by his talents as a resident doctor. Dr. Cox's job is teaching the new interns…and he's definitely from the "tough love" school. His crush on Nurse Carla is no secret (at least, not since Turk found out),but Cox also has a hot ex-wife that occasionally wreaks havoc on his already-stunted social life

John C.
McGinley

as Dr. Perry Cox
John C. McGinley relishes his chance to portray the gruff, worldly Dr. Perry Cox on the NBC comedy "Scrubs." "As an actor, it's great to play a strong leader with a heart of gold," says John C. "Dr. Cox mentors the rookie doctors with a spoonful of dirt and then a cup of sugar. I see him as an archetypal descendent of two of my favorite curmudgeonly characters: Lou Grant and Louie De Palma."

If any of the cast members has a web site dedicated to just them, I might include a link to it here.
